Continued emphasis on the development of listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Japanese. Focus on the practice of vocabulary and grammatical structures in meaningful communicative tasks and authentic cultural contexts. Another hundred kanjis will be added. Course offered through Illinois Wesleyan University. Second course in three-course sequence.
Further refinement of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in meaningful communicative tasks and authentic cultural contexts. Higher communicative skills will be reached by learning another hundered kanji as well as complex grammar structures. Course offered through Illinois Wesleyan University. Third course in three-course sequence.
A continuation of Japanese 201. Students will learn more complex grammar and a few hundred more kanjis. Cultural and social aspects of the Japanese people are discussed through the language, learning to improve communicative skills. Course offered through Illinois Wesleyan University.
